This broadcast is a milestone in my professional life—
a moment of personal pride and public love for my father and mother and
our work as a family, together with my talented filmmaking partners and
environmental activists. The loss of my father, Ted, seven weeks ago makes
this broadcast bittersweet, but inviting you to watch with me on Sunday
night is perhaps the most wonderful tribute I can give him.

This Sunday, May 13th, the Sundance Channel
broadcasts a unique Mother’s Day triple-feature that spans 17 years
of our filming together— a long time to look at the impact
of a chemical on a life. Indeed, it is one long and loving
exploration of motherhood and parenting in the time of chemical exposure.
